Our Future

The new “Gasconade County Fair Youth and Ag Education Center” is crucial to support youth and agriculture education, fair operations, and year-round community events.

The construction of the new “Gasconade County Fair Youth and Ag Education Center” is critical to support the future of youth education, agriculture education, and fair operations in the county and surrounding areas. Although the building will serve as an exhibit space during the annual fair, the facility serves a year round site for community gathering from youth to adult events not only in county but East Central Missouri.

The new center will replace the Association 1 & 2 Buildings built in 1958. Association 1 Building is nearing the end of its life span. Association Building 2 was already condemned and torn down, putting a strain on community space offered. The history of the fair and fair facilities shows strong support of youth and agricultural events that will continue with the building of the new facility.

Gasconade County Fair Youth and AG Education Center

The original fair youth building has hosted regularly scheduled youth events and meetings such as 4-H Shooting Sports, 4-H clubs/events, county and regional FFA events, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts to develop our community youth. Other AG groups and organizations such as the Missouri Department of Conservation have used the building. The building serves as a free or affordable place for organizations that are improving the livelihood of the community to meet and successfully conduct their work.
